From leaders to potential future leaders

I don't know who these wishes belong too exactly, but these are the type of thoughts that can make you realise more about leadership than you ever knew. They can make you overcome any dam' dissapointment and walk in front stronger than you ever could thought that you can be. Allthough I'm not the author I totally subscribe to the lines bellow:
I sincerely wish you to have the experience of thinking up a new idea, planning it, organizing it and following it to completion, then having it to be magnificently succesful.
I also hope you go through the same process and have something fail terribly. I wish you could know how it feels to run for something with all your heart and loose horribly. I wish that you could achieve some great good for mankind and have nobody know about it except you.
I wish you could find something terribly worthwhile that you deem worthy of devoting your whole life. I hope you become frustrated and dissatisfied enough to begin to push back the very barriers of your own personal limitation.
I hope you make a stupid unethical mistake and get caught red handed andare big enough to say the magical words: "I was wrong!".
I hope you give so much of yourself that some days you wonder if it's worth at all. I wish for a magnificent obsession that will give you a reason for living, purpose, direction and elan in life.
I wish for you the worst kind of criticism for everything you do, because that makes you fight to achieve beyond what you normally would!
I wish for you the experience of LEADERSHIP!!!
Yours truly,
Marius.

Dream on

Aerosmith - Dream on
(one of my favourite songs)

Every time I look in the mirror
All these lines on my face getting clearer
The past is gone
It went by, like dusk to dawn
Isn't that the way
Everybody's got their dues in life to pay

Yeah, I know nobody knows
where it comes and where it goes
I know it's everybody's sin
You got to lose to know how to win

Half my life is in books' written pages
Lived and learned from fools and from sages
You know it's true
All the things come back to you

Sing with me, sing for the year
Sing for the laughter, sing for the tears
Sing with me, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good lord will take you away

Yeah, sing with me, sing for the year
sing for the laughter, sing for the tear
sing with me, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away

Dream On, Dream On, Dream On,
Dream until a dream come true
Dream On, Dream On, Dream On,
Dream until your dream comes through....

Vacation

It's been a while since my last post here. From various reasons I wanted to stop blogging for good but I feel like I stiil like to share my experiences with the ones who know me, the ones reading this blog.

Right now I could say I feel pretty cool, the Anual Local Planning Meeting turned out to be very productive, I also returned from Bucharest after an interesting Presidents meeting, overall I'm quite satisfied with the way things are going professionally so far. Now I took some days off. No, it's not a typing error - the only thing I want right now is to feel the vacation running through my venes. It's funny what can happen sometimes when you're in AIESEC, you might think the world would collapse if u gave yourself a break. As part an organisation who promises activating leadership I don't want to lead myself towards self-destruction so I decided to take a well deserved time off for my peace and fullfilment.

Tese days I'm looking to spend some time with my family, catch up with a friend or two, read a book, have fun with my team and update my blog. Quite a lot of things I could still write as there's a lot going on but I'm afraid that's it for today.

Let there be balance,
Marius.
